From supervised techniques on real models to the Mediterranean approach to a natural Glass Skin
The first two days of SKIN & ANATOMY LAB – Bootcamp Summer 2026 allowed participants to consolidate their knowledge of skin, anatomy and injection techniques.
On July 31st and August 1st, the program reached a new stage:
moving from simulation to clinical practice.
These two days allowed participants to apply their knowledge in a professional environment, under the supervision of experienced practitioners, while deepening a personalized approach to skin quality.
Day 3: Putting it into practice on real models
The third day, led by Dr. Amal Abid, was devoted to a practical workshop in a medical practice, in collaboration with an international distributor of medical devices.
After the exercises carried out on simulators during the previous day, the participants were able to confront real clinical situations and apply their knowledge on human models, under the guidance and supervision of the trainer.
This step is a crucial moment in the educational process.
Simulation allows for the development of skills in a controlled environment.
Supervised practice then allows this knowledge to be compared with the anatomical and clinical diversity encountered in real patients.
From theory to clinical reality
Practicing on real models offers participants the opportunity to integrate a fundamental aspect: adapting to the individual journey of each patient.
In a clinical context, the purely mechanical execution of a technical gesture remains insufficient.
In order to establish relevant therapeutic objectives with the patient, the practitioner must take into account their specific needs, their own anatomical morphology, as well as a global facial analysis (evaluation of volumes, symmetry, skin laxity, projection, and skin quality).
Comparative clinical evaluation — through before and after treatment photographs — is an essential phase. This practical session thus allowed for the realization of the theoretical teachings from the first two days while promoting the development of agile and tailored clinical reasoning.
Day 4: The Mediterranean approach for a natural Glass Skin
The fourth day continued this clinical immersion with a theme dedicated to skin quality and the Mediterranean approach to Glass Skin.
Led by Dr. Yosra Hadj Mabrouk and Dr. Maroua Zrida, aesthetic physician and founder of the Elie Clinic, this day put skin diagnosis and personalization back at the center of care.
The principle is simple:
Every skin deserves an accurate diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan.
Advanced skin analysis: before the protocol, the diagnosis
A truly personalized approach to skin quality begins with a thorough analysis.
During this day, participants delved deeper into advanced skin diagnostics, particularly through the use of IOMA technology.
This approach enriches skin assessment and informs clinical thinking about the personalization of treatments.
For the practitioner, the goal is not simply to identify a visible imperfection, but to understand the specific needs of the skin in order to develop a coherent strategy.
Build a personalized treatment strategy
The approach developed during this day is based on several steps:
Analyze → Identify needs → Select treatments → Customize → Evaluate
This logic helps to avoid a uniform approach to skin quality.
Two patients with visually similar skin may have different needs and require different treatment strategies.
Personalization is therefore becoming a genuine clinical tool.

Participants also explored different solutions used in aesthetic medicine to improve skin quality, including:

The goal was not to present a universal solution, but to understand how these different approaches can fit into a personalized strategy.
The importance of exchange between practitioners
The presence of Dr. Maroua Zrida, aesthetic physician and founder of the Elie Clinic, also allowed for the integration of a particularly important dimension in the training: the sharing of clinical experience.
The exchanges with the participating physicians allowed for a confrontation of scientific knowledge with the reality of daily practice.

Over these four days, the Bootcamp built a coherent progression:

Day 2 — Understanding injection
Facial anatomy, risk areas, facial mapping with ultrasound, reconstruction of different botulinum toxins, rheology of hyaluronic acids, and simulation.
Day 3 — Practicing
Application of knowledge on real models in a supervised clinical environment.
Day 4 — Personalizing
Advanced skin analysis, technologies, skin quality, and individualized therapeutic strategy.
This progression can be summarized in four words:

The SKIN & ANATOMY LAB – Bootcamp Summer 2026 was designed to bring science closer to clinical reality.
Participants gradually evolved from theory to simulation, then from simulation to practice on real models.
This progression allows for the development of a more comprehensive approach to aesthetic medicine, in which technique is only part of the practitioner's competence.
Diagnosis, anatomy, therapeutic choice, safety, patient adaptation, and outcome evaluation are equally essential.
